Attracting More Happiness – The Art of Self Fulfillment - Ajit Patel Wellness, Ajit Patel Sanda, Ajit Patel UK

Do you feel unhappy in your life? Are you pestered by a feeling of emptiness, as if there is something missing? If so, then this article will help.

Tony Robbins speaks about what he calls the "art of fulfillment" and specifically about your inherent need to grow and contribute. It’s through your sense of growth and contribution that you gain a sense of self fulfillment — which is the essence of happiness.

This is very powerful stuff. For isn’t fulfillment really what you strive for?

I looked up the definition of fulfillment in the dictionary. Here’s what I found:

1. the act or state of fulfilling: to witness the fulfillment of a dream; to achieve fulfillment of one’s hopes.
2. the state or quality of being fulfilled; completion; realization: a vague plan that had no hope of fulfillment.
3. the process or business of handling and executing customer orders, as packing, shipping, or processing checks.
4. a feeling of satisfaction at having achieved your desires
5. the act of consummating something (a desire or promise etc.)

Four out of these five things are about that feeling you get that makes you feel whole. And it’s the feeling that you are growing and that you are contributing that leads to that sense of fulfillment. It stands to reason then that if you find yourself unable to shake the sense of dissatisfaction with your life that has overcome you, that feeling should serve as a powerful clue that your life is not on purpose.

The solution? Get on purpose.

Get clear about what you want what your true life purpose is. What’s your target? You’ll know because it will be something you are passionate and emotional about. Tap into that emotion and then decide — right now, today — what you’re going to do about it in order to move in the direction of your own self fulfillment. That will put you on the path to to attracting more happiness in your life.

If you find this difficult to do or have trouble getting clear on things, there are a number of tools that can help you to begin to tune into your purpose. Perhaps the simplest is to just get tuned in to yourself and what’s important. Spend some time "getting quiet" and ask your self this simple question.

"Right now, given everything that is going on, what is it I really want that is most important to me?"
Write your answer down and then take some time to reflect on your answer in your journal or in a notepad. How does what you wrote down make you feel? What are some examples that illustrate what you want? Flesh out your answer in more detail in order to uncover your passion around what you want. Once you’ve done that, identify one simple step you can take today to move you closer.
